CK Group are recruiting for a Brand Manager to join a pharmaceutical company who develop breakthrough therapies that improve the lives of both humans and animals. This role is a 12-month PAYE contract position.   

Location:

This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week in Bracknell and 3 days from home.

As a Brand Manager, you will shape and develop highly effective brand strategies and execute tactical marketing plans to ensure the achievement of market share, sales, and profitability targets of core focus brands. 

Your main duties will be:

  • Lead on the development and implementation of tactical marketing plan and product related communication. Ensure that the marketing mix (product, pricing, placement, promotion) plan and tactics are adequately adapted to each sales channel's requirements, including online.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts, budgets, and market share information in consultation with the management team and sales force.
  • Produce and present Brand & Business reviews to Senior Management, including Regional Marketing.
  • Management and tracking of advertising & promotions budget and spending, with an evaluation of effectiveness.
  • Maintain required knowledge of the market and competitor activities.
  • Further develop the Company and brand image though building positive relationships with relevant external bodies, key influencers and opinion leaders within the industry and profession. 
Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Relevant market experience essential, including Digital.
  • Experience of managing a brand (Retail).
  • FMCG marketing background.
  • Proven experience of managing budgets.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle deadlines and multi-tasks.
  • Knowledge of different marketing channels and tactics and the merits and drawbacks of each.
  • Cross-function project leadership including experience of complex projects (e.g. launches, channel changes, re-positioning).
