Funding for Research Scientists in Cambridge

The Medical Research Council is to receive government investment towards a £197 million new building. This Cambridge based biotechnology company is currently carrying out research into monoclonal antibodies to treat asthma. Previous antibody research has resulted in the generation of cancer drugs such as Herceptin.This facility has produced 13 Nobel Prize winners and is where DNA coding was first unravelled. The new investment will go towards areas such as Neurobiology.
